Born in South Bend, Indiana and raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, it was only natural that she became a HUGE Notre Dame football fan and CUBS baseball fan. Upon graduating from the University of Iowa in 1987 she began working at a private practice in Wilmette, Illinois. She then had the opportunity in 1998 to move to beautiful Carmel, California and then to San Francisco in 2007 where she received her AEGD (residency) at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry San Francisco. Her career then led her to practice in Marin County, San Anselmo in 2012 and then happily to Sedona, Arizona in 2019. With over 33 years’ experience, Dr. Kindt’s desire is to create an integrated dental health experience for all her patients as a holistic, biological dentist and to become an integral part of the Sedona healthy community at large. Every patient treated by Dr. Kindt will be recognized and treated so that their experience at AZBD is the healthiest and best “whole body” dental experience that they have ever had. Dr. Kindt’s hobbies include flying small planes (SEL), cycling, running, hiking, collecting boutique California Pinot Noirs, baking, gardening, and rescue dogs.

Michael has been in the dental industry since 2016. He started as a sterilization technician and worked to become a dental assistant. Michael transitioned from working in the back office and became an office manager in 2018. Tammy and Michael have been married for 20+ years and they have a very happy and adorable son together.

Tammy has been in the dental industry for 15 years; she started as a registered dental assistant in California. In 2013 she received her Extended Function Dental Assisting license which allows her to do all the restorative aspects of dental treatment, from placing the fillings after decay is removed to taking the final impressions for crowns and dentures. By being able to do the restorative portion of treatment, Tammy has been able to allow the dentist to spend more time with each patient for quality care.

Tiana began her career as an early childhood educator, where she developed a strong foundation in communication, patience, and care. Driven by a passion for helping others and a desire to grow in a new field, she transitioned into the dental industry and now works as a dedicated dental assistant. Tiana supports Dr. Kindt and Tammy with all procedures, bringing a calm and positive presence to every appointment. She strives to make sure patients feel comfortable and enjoys being part of a team that prioritizes excellent care.
